Wireless earbuds have become the go-to audio companions for music, calls, and entertainment. Whether you’ve just bought new earbuds in Kenya or want to switch devices, connecting them via Bluetooth can sometimes be confusing — especially if you're new to wireless tech.
Here’s a simple, step-by-step guide to help you connect your wireless earbuds to any device — Android, iPhone, Windows laptop, Mac, smart TV, or even a gaming console.
Before connecting, make sure your earbuds are in pairing mode. Most earbuds automatically enter pairing mode when you remove them from the case for the first time. Otherwise:
Touch-sensitive buds: Press and hold both earbuds for 5–10 seconds.
Buttons: Press and hold the button on one or both earbuds until the LED blinks (usually blue or white).
Once in pairing mode, follow the instructions below for your specific device.
Open Settings > Connections or Bluetooth.
Turn on Bluetooth.
Tap Pair new device or Add device.
Select your earbuds from the list.
Tap Pair and wait for the connection to complete.
Your earbuds are now ready for music and calls.
Open Settings > Bluetooth.
Turn on Bluetooth.
Look under Other Devices and select your earbuds.
Tap Pair.
The earbuds should now be listed under My Devices as connected.
Click the Start Menu > Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices.
Turn on Bluetooth.
Click Add Bluetooth or other device > Bluetooth.
Choose your earbuds from the list.
Click Pair.
Once connected, sound should automatically switch to the earbuds.
Open System Settings > Bluetooth.
Turn on Bluetooth.
Select your earbuds from the available list.
Click Connect.
You’ll hear a connection sound once it’s successful.
Go to your TV’s Settings > Sound > Bluetooth Audio (varies by brand).
Turn on Bluetooth.
Select your earbuds from the device list.
Pair and confirm.
Note: Some smart TVs may only support specific Bluetooth audio devices.
PlayStation 4/5: Most wireless earbuds don’t work directly. You may need a Bluetooth dongle plugged into the USB port.
Xbox: Bluetooth earbuds are not natively supported, but you can use them through the Xbox app on your phone with wired input or a Bluetooth transmitter.
Not showing up? Ensure the earbuds are in pairing mode and close to the device.
Already connected to another device? Disconnect from that device first.
Low battery? Charge your earbuds before pairing.
Whether you’re using an Android phone, iPhone, laptop, or smart TV in Kenya, pairing your wireless earbuds is a straightforward process. With just a few steps, you can enjoy wireless audio on almost any device. Always keep your earbuds charged and in pairing mode when switching between devices.
